Thanks to so many supporters for celebrating the One-Year Anniversary for Meg’s Legacy of Hope on June 27th at Phase Three Brewery! The Board felt strongly that recognizing our first year of success in establishing the new non-profit in Megan’s memory would be a special event.
The huge turn-out of more than 200 attendees was so gratifying and humbling! It’s a true testament that our shared mission to improve mental health for youth is an important goal that binds our community together.
Thanks to the crew at Phase Three for such delicious brews and food, and especially for committing their “round-up sales” during the whole month of June to our charity. Everyone loved Stu the Piano Guy, and we are thankful for all our volunteers, especially Jeff Porter for organizing the gig! A great night was had by all, and we look forward to hosting more fun, casual events like this to support mental health.
So many friends commented they had no idea how much work Meg’s Legacy had already accomplished in one year, or how many committed people are involved on the team. We will continue to make communication a priority.
We raised $11,000 at the event. Thank you for your support and donations to Meg’s Legacy of Hope! The energy and passion shared by so many supporters at the event further motivates and inspires our team. It’s only through your generosity that we can carry on this mission of improving the mental health of youth.
