Megan Butz Legacy of Hope has appointed Ken Edwards and Beth Sherman, PsyD, to its Board of Directors. Both leaders bring extensive experience and a deep commitment to the organization’s mission of providing support and resources to youth with mental health challenges.
Edwards joins the board with a proven track record in nonprofit leadership and community engagement after a decades-long career in supply chain management. His strategic vision and operational expertise will be invaluable as the organization continues to expand its reach and impact. “Ken has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to youth via board leadership and brings fresh perspectives on community partnerships,” said Meg’s Legacy co-founder Larry Butz.
“The work and commitment delivered by this team to address mental health issues for young people is incredible, and I’m honored to join the board and contribute to this important mission in whatever capacity is needed,” Edwards said.
Dr. Beth Sherman brings clinical expertise and a deep understanding of mental health services to the board. As a licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Sherman has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate mental health challenges, with extensive experience in both clinical practice and program development. “Beth’s professional insights will strengthen the organization’s evidence-based approach to support services beyond her responsibilities for our grantees,” Butz said.
“Meg’s Legacy represents everything I believe in regarding compassionate, accessible mental health care,” said Dr. Sherman. “I’m excited to help guide the organization’s continued efforts to break down barriers and provide support to those who need it most.”
